Portfolio
A selection of brand, design, and photography work spanning visual identity, integrated campaigns, print collateral, and independent creative projects.
I'm a brand and marketing professional with a background in graphic design and photography. This page brings together a selection of work spanning brand identity, campaign design, print collateral, and photography — produced independently and in my role at Capital City College.
BRAND IDENTITY
Logos and visual identity systems developed for independent projects and institutional clients.
Davide Giordani Photographer
Personal brand identity for a photographer and visual director. The mark fuses the initials D, G, and P into a single bold geometric form. A pixel detail embedded in the counter of the P bridges the digital and the human, representing the movement and dynamism of photography as both a technical and personal practice. Rendered in stark black and white, the mark is designed to be striking and versatile across all formats.
ReflectingYOU
Visual identity for an independent socially engaged photography project. Two identical Rs, one upside down and reversed, mirror each other across a central axis. Where the two letters meet, only the shared central portion overlaps, creating a zone of connection without losing the individuality of each form. Two eyes of equal size sit within the mark, one in each R, reinforcing the idea of mutual seeing. A full-spectrum rainbow gradient runs across the entire mark, reflecting the diversity of participants and communities the project works with.
Angel Animal Academy
Logo and merchandise identity for a new animal academy at Capital City College's Angel campus. The identity is built around RICO, the academy's resident iguana and unofficial mascot, illustrated in a bold line-art style within a circular badge format. A warm gradient running from purple through red to orange references the college brand palette while evoking the vivid colours of the natural world. The mark was applied across signage and merchandise at launch.
BRAND & CAMPAIGN WORK
Print and digital materials produced for Capital City College Group.
Sponsorship Brochure — College Spaces
A commercial brochure promoting the opportunity for businesses to sponsor named spaces across Capital City College's twelve campuses, from classrooms and computer suites to entire buildings and exteriors. The brochure follows the same clean, data-led format as the Chef Whites brochure, presenting partnership opportunities in a way that balances commercial clarity with genuine social purpose.
Sponsorship Brochure — Chef Whites
A commercial brochure promoting the opportunity for businesses to sponsor the chef whites and uniforms worn by hospitality students at Capital City College's professional training restaurant, The Vincent Rooms in Westminster. The brochure presents the sponsorship opportunity in a clear, data-led format, highlighting reach, visibility, and social impact, while maintaining a corporate yet engaging tone suited to a business audience.
ESOL Conference Brochure
A conference programme and speaker brochure for an ESOL event held at Capital City College's Tottenham campus. The brochure was designed to reflect the conference's three pillars of pedagogy, inclusion, and innovation, presenting content in a clean, readable format. The design sits within the college brand while allowing the content and the people it celebrates to take centre stage.
Trans Day of Visibility Brochure
A conference brochure produced for Capital City College's International Transgender Day of Visibility event, held at the Soho campus. The design uses the trans flag colours, blue and pink, as the primary palette, integrated with CCCG's signature wedge-shaped graphic elements, the same forms that make up the college's C-mark logo. This combination signals both institutional commitment and visual continuity with the wider CCCG brand, creating a warm, inclusive, and purposeful design that belongs clearly to the college while speaking directly to the trans community it supports.
Capital City College PowerPoint Presentation Template
A corporate presentation template developed in two versions, dark and light, to give colleagues flexibility when preparing presentations across departments and campuses. Both versions feature the CCC C-mark as a large background graphic element, grounding each slide within the brand while leaving ample space for content. The template was designed to be versatile enough to serve every department, subject, and campus across the college, while maintaining a consistent and professional visual identity.
GCSE Results Day Flyer
A double-sided flyer distributed to secondary school students collecting their GCSE results, providing information about Capital City College, campus locations and opening hours during results week, and five reasons to choose CCCG for their next step. The design is clear, welcoming, and actionable, aimed at young people making a decision under pressure.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Independent and commissioned photographic work.
ReflectingYOU
ReflectingYOU is a socially engaged photography project co-founded with a photographer, exploring human connection through collective portraiture. Using an original in-camera methodology, pairs of participants are photographed simultaneously within a single shared frame, producing relational portraits with no post-production compositing. Commissions have been delivered for Transport for London, Capital City College, and Nexus Studios.
Portraits
A personal portrait series exploring the dialogue between photographer and subject. Each image is the result of a conversation expressed visually, a moment of negotiation between the person behind the camera and the person in front of it. Subjects include actors and individuals who wished to show the camera a side of themselves rarely seen.
Full of Emptiness
A conceptual photography series exploring matter, energy, and human existence, inspired by quantum physics theories on emptiness and interconnectedness. Through portraiture, the work explores the idea that we, and the environment we live in, are made of energy rather than matter, highlighting the deep interconnection between people and their surroundings.
